I have gotten so much better at taking photos that I got a little carried away this time.
So I got the opportunity to read this book and to review it and I really was surprised because I actually genuinely liked it. It was a fast read for me and that surprised me the most . It usually takes me weeks to finish a book but it only took me three-four days to finish this one. then again it was only 214 pages so I should have finished it in two days but I liked that I took my time with it and read it slowly. Books usually start getting boring if I've been reading them for hours without break or even with a break.

Thoughts:
It really is more of a chill book with not that much action to it and a good sister relationship and a simple romance. So its perfect for calm and cold days.
Okay, so it wasn't technically about the end of the world but it was how these girls lives has to change drastically and how they had to deal with their mother leaving in the middle of the night after a fight with their insane prepper former military father and how they had to live in a rundown rat infested house by themselves with little food in the middle of nowhere. So in a sense it was about the end of the world as they knew it.
For me I hated the idiot father, and the mother for leaving their kids alone to fend for themselves. I also thought that Wolf's friend, Laurel was a bit unnecessary at the beginning though she became a better character at the end.
What I did like was the two sisters, Nicole and Isabel, for being like real sisters. No drama like fighting over who gets the bathroom or fighting over some stupid guy. It was real and I think that made the book for me.
I loved how the book was written. Jamie Kain did such a good job at describing things with such beautiful and smart/natural words which I really loved.
My favorite character has got to be...
Nicole. For being strong and resource but also falling in love the way she did and for being there for her sister when she needed her the most.
