Review Policy & Rating System

If your reading this then that means you might be interested in sending me books. 

If so then I will tell you my policy on that. Because I am currently accepting books.

I will accept review copies if the book interests me. I do not accept those I am not interested in or am too busy to focus on.


Disclosure

The reviews under "Review Copy" are books I've gotten from either a publisher or an author. All content and opinions in those posts are very much my own. 
I write honest reviews for those books I get sent. As well as all the books I review. My opinions might not be the same as others but that is the way it is. All reviews are 100% my personal opinions. If I did not like the book I will say so. Same goes if I liked it.


Review:

For my reviews, I do the details first. Such as title, author, publication date and company, page count and such. Then I do the rating which is __ out of 5 stars. Finally, I do a paragraph or more on my thoughts on the book.

I like the following Genres in books:

• Young-Adult
• Contemporary
• Romance
• Fantasy
• Mystery
• Middle Grade

I do not like the following genres:

• Erotica
• Non-Fiction
• Historical Fiction (But it depends on the story)

Rating System:

• ★★★★★  .....  I loved it. This means I will most likely talk/photogaph the book nonstop. And I will most likely re-read it.

• ★★★★☆  .....  I liked it. This means that the book was good but because of one or two things, I didn't love it. Would probably re-read.

• ★★★☆☆  .....  I enjoyed it. It was a good book but it wouldn't be on any of my favorites lists.

• ★★☆☆☆  .....  I dislike it. Not a fun time was had when I was reading this book. Or too many aspects of the book weren't to my liking.

• ★☆☆☆☆  .....  I hate it. I rarely give this out. But when I do I have a strong opinion on it and its a thing that has gotten me pissed off and/or ruined the time I spent reading the book. 

Time:

This I cannot guarantee. I usually do a lot of things around the house and take care of my grandmother. So I end up taking short periods of time in the day to read and sometimes it can take me weeks to finish a book or one or two days. It depends on the kind of day and how long it takes me to do chores around the house.


Format:

I accept physical copies. Hardcovers, or paperbacks, or arcs.  I do not accept e-books. I don't own an e-reader. And with a physical copy, I am most likely to take photos of the books and post them on my Instagram.
